POLICIES AND INFORMATION

IV Push Timer: Privacy Policy

How the app handles information

IV Push Timer stores settings and timer history on your devices and transfers information between a paired Apple Watch and iPhone. The app has no account sign-in, advertising or analytics service, and does not send timer records to a developer-operated server. Apple services, device backups, diagnostics and support communications are described separately below.

Data used by the app

Timer history includes a generated record identifier, date/time, duration and timer mode. Settings include timing-cue preferences, Auto Timeout, sound, appearance and Auto-Start choices. The app also stores onboarding state, technical consent state and settings-revision information. Legacy countdown records from earlier versions may remain in history, paired-device transfers and backups, including their stored timer mode. The stopwatch-only release does not imply that those existing records have been erased.

There are no entry fields for patient names, diagnoses, medication names, doses or clinical notes. A timestamped record may still become sensitive when associated with a patient or clinical event. Do not use timer history as a clinical record or send patient information in support requests or screenshots.

Paired-device transfers

Apple Watch sends timer history to the paired iPhone through Apple WatchConnectivity. The iPhone sends settings to Apple Watch. Copies can exist on both devices. Transfers may be delayed or repeated, so a displayed history or setting may not reflect the other device's latest state.

Permissions and notifications

The Watch app may request notification permission after receipt of a current phone acceptance and schedules local timer interval alerts. iPhone onboarding also offers a button that requests iPhone notification permission. iPhone permission does not grant or confirm Watch permission. Check each device's notification settings separately.

Watch notification content contains timer minute or interval information, not patient names. Notification presentation, a visible alert or a screenshot can reveal usage timing. Permissions, Focus, Silent Mode, device state and operating-system limits can affect alert delivery. The iPhone is not an independent backup timer or patient monitor.

Apple services and backups

Siri, Shortcuts, operating-system diagnostics, TestFlight, the App Store and device backups may process or retain information according to Apple's settings and policies. Device backup or restore can retain or restore app data. Review those settings; local app storage does not mean that no other copy can exist.

Retention and deletion

The Watch retains up to 50 completed timer records. The iPhone stores received history. The app does not automatically expire records by age and has no account-deletion service.

Clearing history on iPhone clears that phone's copy, not the Watch copy. Later Watch synchronization can restore history on the phone. Deleting records or clearing history on Watch saves the revised list and attempts to send it to the phone. Delayed or previously queued transfers can affect what appears afterward.

Check both devices and applicable backups when removing information. Local deletion does not guarantee immediate or permanent deletion from another device, queued transfers or backups. Removing the app from one device does not erase the other device's copy.

Safety acknowledgment records

The iPhone owns the agreement decision: a checked box and Agree are required to accept the current agreement. Cancel does not accept it. A current, paired-installation phone receipt must reach the Watch before it unlocks; the Watch cannot accept an agreement independently. Earlier acceptance is not promoted into a new revision.

Pre-consent paired-device communication may carry control messages needed to request or convey agreement status, not ordinary settings or history. Cancel does not erase history or settings already stored. Once an authorized receipt has synced to the same paired Watch installation, a synced Watch may continue offline; offline use does not bypass initial receipt delivery or a later required agreement.

Support communications

If you contact support, your email address, message, attachments and technical details may be handled by the receiving mailbox and its service providers. Do not include patient identifiers, clinical records or identifiable screenshots. App history deletion does not delete a separate support message.

Protecting your information

Protect your Watch, iPhone and backups with appropriate device controls. Review the information-security settings available on your devices. No software or device can guarantee perfect security.

Changes

A required new agreement revision requires a new iPhone decision and a current receipt on Watch. Earlier acceptance does not automatically accept a new agreement. The agreement revision is separate from the installed app version.
